This Policy covers:

  • The Site, including any web forms that collect your name, email address, phone number, message content, and puppy inquiry details (for example, preferences about a puppy or litter, timing, and questions).
  • Direct emails you send to an address we publish on the Site.

Exclusions

Third-party websites, services, or social media platforms you access, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, PayPal, and Zelle, are governed by their own privacy policies, not this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use Site web forms, you provide your name, email address, phone number, message content, and puppy inquiry details such as preferences about a puppy or litter, timing, and questions. When you email or text us directly, we receive your contact details and message content. When you send us Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram DMs, we receive your profile handle or display name and message content as permitted by those platforms. If you pay via Zelle or PayPal, we receive limited transaction confirmations and payer details such as your name, email or handle, amount, and date.

We do not collect or store bank account or payment card numbers on the Site.

Information collected automatically from the Site

We use cookies and similar technologies, including localStorage, to support Site functionality and to store your tracking preferences. We collect basic device and usage data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, scrolls, referring URLs, and approximate location inferred from your IP address.

We use Google Analytics loaded via Google Tag Manager ("GTM") to develop aggregate website usage statistics. We use Microsoft Clarity for session replay and usability insights such as page rendering, clicks, scrolls, and mouse movements. Microsoft Clarity is configured not to capture keystrokes or form content and to mask sensitive fields. We also store in your browser's localStorage your tracking preference selected via the Site's footer control.

Information from service providers and platforms

If you message us via social platforms, we may receive your profile or handle and message content according to your settings with those platforms. From PayPal or Zelle, or your bank for Zelle, we receive limited transaction confirmations and payer contact information necessary for our records.

Sensitive data

We do not intend to collect sensitive personal information through the Site. We do not collect or store payment card or bank account numbers on the Site.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to and manage inquiries, including follow-ups about puppy availability and logistics.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and user experience.
  • Perform basic analytics and usability tracking via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
  • Communicate with you about your specific inquiries. We do not send marketing-style emails or texts at this time.
  • Process and confirm payments if you choose to pay via Zelle or PayPal, and maintain related records. Processing occurs with those providers.
  • Protect the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and ensure security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and maintain business records.

Cookies, localStorage, and Analytics

Technologies we use

We use cookies and similar technologies, including localStorage, to support Site functionality and store your tracking preferences. We use GTM to load analytics tags. We use Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics. We use Microsoft Clarity for session replay and usability insights. Clarity is configured not to capture keystrokes or form fields and to mask sensitive fields.

Default-on tracking and your control

Analytics and session replay are enabled by default. A "Tracking Settings" control appears in the site footer. This control lets you turn analytics and session replay off. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key site_tracking_v1, which is set to true or false depending on your selection. If you change browsers or devices, or clear cookies or localStorage, your preference will reset and you may need to set it again. Turning tracking off disables both Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

Additional user controls

You can control cookies and trackers via your browser settings and add-ons. Helpful links:

Do Not Track

The Site does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Please use the controls described above.

We do not collect or store bank account or payment card numbers on the Site.
